For the second year in a row, Ariston - the leading brand of Ariston Thermo - won an important prize at the Movi&Co competition.
The new video “Memories of Velis”, created by young video maker Alessandra Rosso, ranked second in the general standings out of 27 participating videos.
Currently in its ninth edition, the Movi&Co competition is open to young people aged between 18 and 35 who are invited to invent and create advertisements, viral videos and corporate video clips.
“Memories of Velis” is an animated video portraying – in an ironic and original way – the birth and development of an Ariston product, namely the Velis water heater, through a hypothetical photo album. The fantasy story narrates the life of the “child” Velis from birth through childhood, through a series of “photos” collected in his memory book: from the stork carrying the baby to his first day of school, followed by a series of achievements and prizes until he eventually makes his way into our homes.
The awards ceremony, held on 13th December at the prestigious Triennale di Milano venue, was also attended by the Brand Management of Ariston, who congratulated the young artist for successfully presenting one of our most popular products with a touch of irony and imagination.
